About Me

Hello everyone! My name is William Li. I am 24 years old and from Changsha, Hunan, China. My motherland is China, and my first language is Chinese. This semester, I live in Victoria, Canada, near the University of Victoria, which is convenient for me to focus on study and life. I am currently a computer science student and plan to graduate in two years.

I am passionate about computer science, especially computer algorithms, which are my favourite subject. Learning algorithms allows me to solve complex problems mathematically, logically mathematically, and logically, making me feel interested and fulfilled. In my spare time, I like to play video games and do strength training, which allows me to relax and maintain a healthy body. I find that both strength training and video games can make me feel focused and satisfied while relieving stress and improving my quality of life.

In the past year, I have learned a lot of knowledge at the University of Victoria, and I have gradually adapted to the Canadian lifestyle. During my summer vacation last year, I returned to China and went to Disneyland in Hong Kong with my family, mainly to accompany my younger brother. This trip touched me deeply. Although I am an adult, being in the childlike atmosphere of Disneyland seems to have returned to my childhood. This time spent with my family is very precious, and it made me realize the importance of family and the meaning of travel.

In terms of multimedia education, my experience is mainly related to online teaching. I learned about some e-learning tools, such as student tablets and the school’s online learning platform, which greatly improved the flexibility and convenience of learning. Although online teaching is less interactive than traditional classrooms, it helps students learn anytime and anywhere, breaking through spatial limitations. I hope to learn the theory and practice of multimedia education in depth through this course to enrich my knowledge system and how to apply multimedia technology to actual educational scenarios. In the future, whether it is educating my children or contributing to the cause of education, I hope to make a difference.
